Maryland Family Network Presents The Responsive Training Symposium (Training of Trainers)

This is a 3 part training symposium which covers such topics as:

  • Introduction to interactive and creative training techniques
  • An emphasis on training basics-goals and objectives, logistics and needs assessment
  • An understanding of how to provide meaningful adult learning experiences
  • Training methods to respond to participants' needs
  • An enrichment of their understanding of the cycle of experiential learning
  • An understanding of practical training pitfalls

Maryland Family Network Presents The Advanced Training of Trainers Institute

The Advanced Training of Trainers Institute is an opportunity for experienced trainers, who have completed The Responsive Training Symposium, to expand their knowledge and understanding of training techniques and principles of adult learning. Using the information presented in the highly acclaimed Responsive Training Symposium as a base, we will explore the theory and practice that enables trainers to excel in their work. Topics to be covered in the Advanced Training of Trainers Institute include: graphic techniques (including technology tips), question/answer strategies, group process/group dynamics, multiple intelligence theory, public speaking and critiquing skills.

Maryland Family Network Presents Healthy Beginnings - Supporting Development and Learning from Birth through Three Years of Age: Every Baby, Every Child

Join us for a one day training of trainers on the newly developed training curriculum for the new MSDE publication: Healthy Beginnings: Supporting Development and Learning from Birth through Three Years of Age. The training will provide you with all of the materials needed to provide MSDE approved training on Healthy Beginnings as well as information on the development of parent workshops.
