The Mission
Maryland Committee for Children, a private, non-profit organization
founded in 1945, is an advocate and catalyst for the development
of a strong system of quality child care, early education
and family support on a local, state and national level.
The Vision
The Vision of MCC is to:

Improve the quality of early educational
opportunities so that all children enter school ready
to succeed.

Increase the availability of child care
throughout Maryland.

Help parents identify child care programs
for their family.

Assist employers in the development of supportive
work/family practices.

Speak out on matters of public interest
for those who are too young to speak for themselves
