The 2007 Maryland EIC Campaign

Each year, Maryland Committee for Children convenes a partnership of organizations -- non-profit, government, and business organizations -- for the purpose of disseminating information about the EIC to low-income families throughout Maryland.

How Your Organization Can Help
Every business, community association, public agency, and non-profit organization reaches a unique group of customers, employees, or constituents. Your organization can use this contact to help ensure that every eligible Marylander knows about the EIC.

Join the EIC Campaign
Members of the Maryland EIC Partnership conduct outreach in ways that suit their organizational goals and capabilities.

  • Businesses can use flyers to distribute EIC information to their customers. As employers, all organizations can use paycheck envelope stuffers to inform their employees about the EIC.
  • Community organizations can use posters and flyers to let people know about the EIC and about VITA, free tax preparation services available in most communities.

There are now about 140 partners in the Maryland EIC Campaign. Each partner makes a unique and important contribution to this effort.

To join the EIC Campaign, contact the Public Policy Department, Maryland Committee for Children, 410-752-7588 X235 or email us at eic@mdchildcare.org.
